It opens on the wall, the ball already resting on the paddle. Drag to move it, tap to launch, and every brick that falls warms the night around it a little: when only steel is left of the wall, the level is yours.
The paddle follows your finger, the ball does the rest.
Three power-ups: wide paddle, three balls, slow ball.
Twenty-four levels, opened one after the other.
What it does
- Twenty-four walls drawn for this game, opened one after the other.
- Bricks that take one, two or three hits, each with its own colour: you know how many are left before you hit one. Steel ones never give, and you do not need them to finish.
- The paddle decides where the ball goes: the centre sends it straight up, the edges at a steeper and steeper angle — never so flat that it keeps bouncing between the side walls.
- Three power-ups fall from the bricks and last a few seconds; a line along the bottom of the field shows how long is left.
- Three lives, a score that carries from one level to the next, and your record on the phone.
- It pauses itself when you leave the app or pull down the notifications, and carries on with a tap.
- In Italian and English, following the phone's language.
The paddle does not jump
Your finger moves the paddle as far as it moves, it never sends it to where you touch: keep your thumb wherever it is comfortable, even far from the paddle, and no touch makes it snap to the other side of the field. Underneath, the ball moves in fixed steps, a hundred and twenty a second, and every collision is worked out along the whole stretch it travels: it never goes through a brick, not even at speed. Before a level goes into the game, an automatic paddle plays it to the end: three walls were redrawn because they hid a brick in a steel pocket.
Your data stays yours
The record, the level reached and the vibration switch stay on the phone. There is no account and no online leaderboard: no score leaves the device. The only permissions are the network, for ads, and the vibrator; the only data that leaves the phone is what Google AdMob collects.
How it is paid for
With a banner anchored at the bottom and, now and then, a full-screen ad between levels or after a game over — never while the ball is in play. No subscription, no purchases, no lives to buy.
