Morph

Bend your voice on two axes: how high it is, and how big the speaker sounds.

ItalianoEnglish

Record your voice and drag it wherever you like. Morph is not a grid of effects: it is a plane with two axes, and you move them with one finger.

Two axes, and keeping them apart is the point

Drop the pitch while leaving the body alone and you get a deep voice talking at your speed — the one a simple slow-down cannot do, because slowing down moves everything at once. Raise the body while leaving the pitch alone and you get somebody small talking in your voice. The names — Giant, Deep, Child, Squirrel, Alien — are shortcuts that move the point to a place on the plane; from there you drag it wherever you like.

How it works

The app opens with a voice already loaded, synthesised in code: you can try the axes before recording anything — and it is also why Morph does not ask for the microphone on startup. Say no to it and the sample voice stays, with both axes still working.

It imitates nobody else's voice

Morph deforms your own, with signal processing: no voice models, no clones, nobody else's voice inside the app. That is a decision about what the app is, not a technical limit, and it is written on the screen as well as here.

Your data stays yours

The recording lives in memory while the app is open and is gone when you close it. A file exists only if you press "Save and share", and it goes into the app's own private folder. No network: all the work happens on the phone, aeroplane mode included. No account, no profile, no server of ours. Two permissions — the microphone, and Internet for the ads.

How it is paid for

One banner anchored at the bottom, and that is all: no subscription, no voice held hostage.
