Privacy Policy — Biorhythm
Last updated: 4 September 2026
Biorhythm draws three curves from one date. That date never leaves your phone.
Data controller: MindContact — privacy@mindcontact.net
In short
- Biorhythm creates no account, asks for no sign-up, and collects no name, email or contacts.
- Your date of birth is stored on the device only and is sent neither to us nor to anyone else. We run no servers.
- The only data leaving the device is what Google AdMob collects to serve ads.
- No health data is collected: a biorhythm is a calendar curiosity, not a measurement of your body.
Permissions and what they are for
| Permission | Why | What leaves the device |
|---|---|---|
| Internet | ads and the consent message | see “Advertising” |
Biorhythm asks for no camera, microphone, location, contacts, calendar, files or notifications. If a further permission were ever needed, it would appear here before it appeared in the app.
Your date of birth
- You are asked once, because it is the only input the cycles are derived from.
- It is kept in the app's local preferences, on your device. It is not transmitted, it is in no backup of ours, and it is tied to no identifier.
- You can change it at any time from the app's settings; uninstalling the app deletes it along with everything else.
Someone else's date of birth
The “Affinity” feature lets you enter a second date of birth to compare two biorhythms. Everything above applies to it: it stays on the device, it is not transmitted, and one tap removes it from the same screen where it was entered.
That date belongs to another person: enter it only if you have a personal relationship with them and consider it reasonable to do so. The app has no way of knowing whose it is, and does not ask.
Advertising
Biorhythm shows ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and process:
- the device advertising identifier (Advertising ID / IDFA);
- the IP address and technical device information;
- ad interaction data.
Google processes this data as an independent controller. Policy and options: policies.google.com/technologies/ads
Your date of birth is not passed to the ad network: the ads know nothing about you beyond what the operating system tells them about any app.
You can limit personalised ads from your system settings:
- Android — Settings › Privacy › Ads
- iOS — Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking
In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, Google's consent message appears on first launch; until you answer it, the app requests no ads at all.
Not a medical tool
The 23, 28 and 33-day cycles are a nineteenth-century theory with no scientific support. Biorhythm draws them because they are pleasant to watch, not because they measure anything: do not use them for decisions about health, driving or work.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.
Your rights
With no account and no backend, we hold no data about you and cannot identify you: there is nothing to ask us to delete, because nothing ever reached us. For data processed by Google AdMob, exercise your rights directly with Google, using the contacts in its own policy.

Changes
Any change to this policy updates the date at the top. Previous versions remain in the history of the public repository mcma-docs.
